Asamoah hails Juventus’ team spirit after comeback vs. Tottenham Hotspur

Two second-half goals from Higuain and Dybala inspired the Old Lady to the quarterfinal round of the elite European club competition

Kwadwo Asamoah has hailed Juventus’ team spirit after their 2-1 comeback win over Tottenham Hotspur in Wednesday’s Uefa Champions League tie.

Following a disappointing 2-2 draw in the first leg, Massimiliano Allegri’s men fought back from a goal behind at Wembley to secure a 4-3 aggregate win and, thus, progress to the last-eight of the competition.

After trailing for almost half an hour, the Ghana international and Stephan Lichtsteiner were introduced for Blaise Matuidi and Medhi Benatia; a tactical switch that changed the complexion of the tie in their favour.
